Grad School

Due to convenience, I plan on going to UF for undergraduate level education, and then Cornell for my graduate level education. I want to go to the University of Florida, even though I quite like Cornell. Florida to upper NY will be quite a transition. So, I figure I can go for grad school and still get to go to the Big Red University, but while going to a much easier transition for my bachelor’s. Even if I were to go to Cornell for undergraduate level food science, I feel like the harsh weather and homesickness would make me depressed.

What worries me is, how hard is it to get into Cornell’s grad school? If I don’t get in, then I will have never been able to go to Cornell, even though I had the opportunity in an earlier time.(I plan on getting a bachelor’s in chemical engineering at UF and then a master’s in food science at Cornell)

Wrong forum, I think. Might want to post this in the graduate admissions board.
