Grad student housing?

I had posted a similar question elsewhere but was advised I might get some better answers over here.

Looking for housing:
-In Ann Arbor or on bus line
-2+ bedroom
-Pet friendly (I have a dog)
-Around 1.4k or less/month

Any ideas of where I should start looking? My program is on central campus but being within walking distance is not necessary.

Hidden Valley Club Apts is about 2 miles south of central on State St. right next to the commuter lot and the 36 bus route. I don’t remember what the 2 bedrooms go for but if I remember correctly I want to say 1-1.1k/month.

Also, maybe this is something someone will know- when do most grad students start acquiring housing? I know that undergrad places go pretty fast but most grad students don’t know what they’re doing until April.
