Prompt: Is it better for people to learn from others than to learn on their own?
There are exceptionally two kinds of people in the earth. In 1970s, one of the most eminent publication wrote four letters that inspired Steve Jobs, “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” Four words from the publication means that we got to learn from others rather than trying to achieve something on their own, and stay foolish to accept every knowledge from others. It is like a cheat sheet of the test of the world. However, when people try to learn on their own, it will take much more time to figure out the solution.
Steve Jobs is well-known person who dropped out the school. Unlike other dropped out students, he dropped out Reed College, a well-known college as much as Stanford. He didn’t dropped out because he was stupid, but he dropped out because he found more valuable facts that would lead his life to his own happiness. Since he dropped out the college, he launched a company, Apple, with his co-partner and became one of the most eminent companies in the world. Apple is well-known as manufacturing computer, Macintosh. HE partly figured out what to make and what to design himself, but all the bases are came from the education from his old schools. He learned how processor and hardware meet together in order to run the program. He learned how the design grabs more people’s attention. And, when he became the CEO of the Apple, he was only thirty. Because he learned the basic critical factors of the computer and design, he was able to stand out as one of the most successful people in short amount of the time.
Like him, Steve Jobs, everyone learn from others, such as books, mandatory schools, or even friends and family. No one can figure something out from no where where no education exists. Even, he might figured out something from no where, it would taken more than a century to figure them out. Such as Newton, who continued the work of Kepler, his work too more than century and had been processed through two people to figure out the mystery of gravity. Education is cheat sheet, it will take much less time to reach the goal than learning on their own.
