So, freshman year of HS I didn’t take things seriously so I did no extracurriculars and got only about a 90 avg the whole year with about 86-88 first semester and 90-93 second semester. Also I didn’t take any honors courses bc they based it off of your 8th grade grades and I slacked off so much bc well… it’s middle school.
This year, I’ve gotten no average lower than a 95.91 and the rest being 97+ (unfortunately my cumulative avg is still a 91 which I don’t understand). I do cross country, track, women’s empowerment club, and theatre.
Next year I’m taking AP Stat, APUSH, & AP Chem as well as joining the girls lacrosse team instead of track (new team).
Colleges I have in mind are Columbia & Stanford (definitely reaches for me), NYU, UCLA, USC, Penn State, Fordham, BU, UCBerkeley, & Northeastern.
Is it going to heavily impact my chances of getting into these schools or how they view me since I did so poorly freshman year? Or will it not be too significant because I improved so drastically
