Assignment:
The statement above implies that we risk failure when we attempt to surpass the limits of our own abilities. Write an essay…

'' No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings. '' William Blake, a classified author of his time wrote this proverb to help people not underestimate their abilities. Us, individuals, like things giving to us rather than doing, and in this quote William Blake is preaching to us. He is telling us to feel proud of the many things we accomplished on our own, and that failure is never a limiting factor to success. Author of '' My Left Foot, '' Christy Brown, Crusader for the handicapped, Helen Keller, and Advocater, Susan B. Anthony, justify this aphorism precisely.
Born into the world with Cerebral Palsy, a rare, yet effective disease, Christy Brown managed to be the top of the top writers of his time span. While growing up, Mr. Brown struggled not only physically; being the fact that he was paralyzed, but emotionally as well. Few of his family members showed adulation towards him, while the remaining found it to difficult to cope with him. These members wanted to ship Christy off, but his mother, Mrs. Brown, refused. Trusting her instinct, she knew her son was special, and soon afterwards Christy did something miraculous; he wrote with chalk pressed between his toes. From then on, his erudite mother taught him his alphabets. Shortly after, his mother passed is away leaving poor Christy aloof. Following this further, he went from just writing alphabets to writing stories, and poems, leading to his success. Mr. Brown wrestled out the many obstacles in his life, one being his own strength, and eventually led to be the son his mother always knew he would be.
Even with loss of sight, and hearing, Helen Keller came to be recognized as '' The Miracle Worker.'' Moreover; she was the first deaf-blind woman to earn a bachelor of arts degree. Helen grew fond of Literature, yet fought to master the language. She thought of Literature as her utopia because she did not feel deprived. Later on, she published her own autobiography, and several other novels. Keller was frustrated with people who used the term ' handicapped.' With so many inconveniences, Keller wanted to live a normal life, and be a writer. She brawled for the disabled; she wanted the world to know that they are not anyone's charity case, and they, too, can accomplish anything like anyone else, if it wasn't for us lowering their self- esteem. Fighting for equality was Keller's motto, and the very esoteric woman did not back down for what she believed in. President Lyndon awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom granting her full honor.
One of the activists who was devoted to the Women's Suffrage Movement was Susan B. Anthony. She was a deeply religious woman, who believed in equal rights for women, and anyone else who lacked freedom. She helped organize meetings, and organizations, and spoke profoundly, expressing ardor towards the cause. When Susan became a teacher, she noticed the wage difference between male, and females; which ruled to the teacher's union who fought for equal wages. After loosing her job, she still fought immensely for equal wages, also recognition to women. Susan B. Anthony died before the Equal Pay Act of 1963 was passed, however she is known to be the primitive source of the Act altogether.
Fly as high as your wings can take you. Everyone is not going to prosper in life; many are going to fail while others might just pass, but the points above convey that risk is a primary factor to one's success. Christy Brown, Helen Keller, and Susan B. Anthony exhibit that your life is nothing without your doing.

Grammar is spotty.
Examples:
William Blake, a classified author of his time wrote this proverb
*William Blake, a classified author of his time, wrote this proverb

Us, individuals, like things giving to us rather than doing,
*We, as individuals, like things being given to us rather than doing them ourselves

Author of ‘’ My Left Foot, ‘’ Christy Brown, Crusader for the handicapped, Helen Keller, and Advocater, Susan B. Anthony, justify this aphorism precisely.
*Christy Brown, author of “My Left Foot”; Helen Keller, crusader for the handicapped; and Susan B. Anthony, suffragette, justify this aphorism precisely.

Your word choice is also often perplexing. I feel like you overused the thesaurus. Do you know what “classified” means? It means “arranged in classes or categories.” How is William Blake arranged into classes or categories? Why is Christy left “aloof,” which means “not friendly”? Do you mean “alone”? Helen Keller “brawled” for the disabled? Did she LITERALLY get into fights? I doubt it.

A lot of these words are close to what they should mean, but not quite. I think you mean William Blake is perhaps a “classic” writer; Christy is “alone”; Helen Keller “fought” for the disabled.

Don’t use the thesaurus. The first word that comes to your mind is the one you should use. If you can’t handle bigger vocabulary, don’t attempt to use it. It reads a little English-as-a-second-language.

Grammar really isn’t my subject but thank you anyways !

Can anyone grade this for me SAT style?
