Grades Finalist Worthy?

I got a 73 in math, a 79 in critical reading, and an 80 in writing. I know a 232 will advance me to semifinalist standing. My question pertains to the requirements for becoming a finalist. I am homeschooled and will have a high school GPA around 3.85. I am taking Algebra 2 this year. Though I haven’t always focused on my studies, I am currently taking English and History for dual credit at the local college and have straight As this semeter. Am I likely to advance to Finalist standing? Also, do they allow you to send extra documents, like reading lists, to give them more insight into your calibre as a student? I think if I could submit a reading list that would really help (Great Expectations, Paradise Lost, Anti-Intellectualism in American Life etc.).

You will receive a packet next September that explains exactly what you can send in with your application.

15,000 of the 16,000 semi’s will make finalist, so your chances are good. You need to get a comparable score on your SAT, keep your grades up, write a good essay, and have some EC’s.
