I’ve recently seen a video where a member of the college admissions staff said that GPA in AP classes is usually the most important part of the application.

Well, this doesn’t really seem fair to me.
For example, I took 2 AP’s this year, and got an 88 and 91 average them.
However, I 5’s on both of these tests.
According to the Collegeboard’s definition of a “5”, it means I should be able to get an “A+” in the college equivilent of these classes.
Moreso, the percentage of students that got 5’s in these exams was around 7%-10%, while I bet (bet) that a higher percentage received an “A” in the corresponding course. (While I didn’t)

It might sound like I’m whining, but I’m just saying that it makes more sense (to me) for the college admissions staff to look at the AP exam score more heavily and not the GPA.
(From what I’ve heard, colleges sometimes don’t even consider AP scores as part of the application)
