So I just finished my sophomore year in high school and my grades aren’t the best. In freshman year I had all As and Bs but took all academic classes. This year I took all academic classes but I feel like I really screwed up. The first semester was fine, had all As and Bs but in the second semester I was in for a rude awakening. I finished with a 77 in Algebra II, a 78 in French II and a 75 in chemistry. I heard having one or two Cs in all four years is not that bad I had 3 C’s in Sophomore year, a pretty important year. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get into college but I feel like all my chances with the good schools I want to get into just got flushed down the toilet. I’ll try really well in my Junior and fist half of Senior year to get all As and Bs but will that be enough to get into better schools like Pitt or University of Delaware? And my school’s grading system is pretty different from most. A 90 would be an A- in most schools but in mine it’s a B+, so a 77, 78, and 75 would usually be C+, C+ and a C respectively but in my school all of them are C’s. Would my GPA be based of my school’s grading scale or a normal or College grading scale? Also, I kinda like to do broadcasting and camerawork, would I need to get a 4 year degree for that or go to some kind of trade school for it?
Thanks for hearing me out, just really concerned with high school and college
