grades or ec?

i am already involved in my cc student government but thinking that i should focus on other things next year, such as studying for sat or getting straight A’s in my honors program.

which one’s more important? good grades or extra curricular activities?

i somehow managed to get a good grade over the last three quarters, but i could have done much better if i had more time or peace of mind (my collegues at the govt and i constantly fight, it’s a who-gets-more-power-thing).

oh, i want to apply to UVA, Williams, Cornell and Stanford (trying doesn’t hurt).

I’d say grades, definitely.

Grades definitely come first.

Grades first, considering these are validated by official transcripts and the lack of accountability for what is actually listed under one’s extracurricular activities.
