this is really suppose to be in chances but nobody goes there…
so suppose say your not doing very well in your current school academically and you have sept to make it up+ssat…also my grades hop up every year so say i was to get like A’s and 3 B’s. Do you think that the grades before would be a problem? for like lawrenceville hotchkiss deeerfield kent and those (not PA or PE). Also i think i will do well on ssat’s will that cover up for the bad grades in my previous years?

The worse grades are obviously not great in the eyes of the school, but they DO look favorably on rising grades! It also depends on the rigor of the past school you went to. Make the schools believe that you have since changed from the low-grade-you, and try for straight As this semester - that will DEFINITELY impress them!

As for the SSAT, it would help, but it doesn’t completely cover up for it.
