<p>My goal is to obtain a CFA charter, and I was originally thinking about obtaining a Master of Financial Economics degree first. However, I recently researched the CFA requirements and I am starting to think that pursuing a CFA charter may be a better investment of my time and money. My undergrad major is Economics.</p>
<p>My question is: </p>
<p>Is getting an MFE prior to CFA worth it, or should I go straight for the CFA charter?</p>
<p>Any insight would be appreciated.</p>
