Hi, I am a sophomore at UCB majoring in applied mathematics. I was wondering how much do graduate school care about workload. Is it better to have a heavy workload with a lower GPA or an easier one with a greater GPA?
They don’t.
My D graduated with BS in CS in 3 years. By the time she graduated, she’d had 2 years in research. Apparently and truly her workload was very heavy.
She was admitted to several top PhD programs, but I don’t think that had anything to do with her workload.
