Hello Everyone!
I have been accepted into the Class of 2017! And I am in the process of comparing colleges. So, I want to know what are the prospects of being accepted into Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Princeton Grad Schools for Economics if I am able to maintain a steady and high GPA? What all can I do to ensure that I am able to stabilize my admission chances to a top grad program? :)

Your chances are bad. But if you are applying to graduate school for the right reasons, the University brand should not matter much.

Talk to professors and engage in research right from the beginning. Your research experience and recommendations from profs are as important as a very high GPA. UCLA is a top research school, so seize that opportunity early. Also, get mentors to guide you through the process as the path is an academic one.

No MIT? MIT is top for Economics. Bernanke went there for graduate school.
