Graduate School Preparation at Mudd

The Matriculation Deadline is two days away and I’m caught between Harvey Mudd and U. Chicago. I understand that both schools have excellent math and physics programs overall. According to my research so far, Mudd wins the contest in terms of its supportive social environment and Chicago wins in terms of graduate preparation.

But can Mudd give me the same preparation for a Masters and PhD in physics as Chicago can?

Chicago wins in terms of graduate preparation? where did you hear that? I am not trying to down Chicago; I am certain it could do as good of a job as Mudd, but it certainly isnt outright better, even in either physics or mathematics.

Mudd, like Chicago, is one of those top tier institutions where you can get prepared for PhD programs. You just have to work hard for it.
