Graduate School Requirements?

Am I allowed to take graduate school requirements at a community college instead of at my undergraduate institution?

I know for most MA - Economics, you need a year of Calculus. Can I just take that equivalent at a CC instead of at my undergrad school?

P.S. - No school I have seen says you explicitly cannot, but, I want to ensure it is not a mistake I should not have made.

The reason I can’t take it at my undergrad school is because it is not a requirement for my econ department and I am a double major with Philosophy and don’t have enough space in my schedule.

I would go ask your advisor if it’s ok to do so. For my school, there’s certain courses that I can take at my CC, but I’ll only receive the credits for it, not the grade that you received. There can be a lot of loopholes with this so be sure that you know what you’re getting into.
