<p>Chedva, the best $ my DD got for her masters (technically unfunded) were:</p>
<p>A} Do FAFSA in January, just like UG. DD got a $7500 WS which in reality meant she was paid for time in her PIs research lab which she would have had to do anyway, but this meant she could do it so much better.</p>
<p>Her dept had never seen a grad student with WS as most of them don’t do the FAFSA until they know where they are going and that means the WS$ are already gone.</p>
<p>B} Do whatever you can to get a TSship that comes with tuition remission and a stipend.</p>
