Graduate School V.S. Undergraduate School.

I understand this may be too broad of an analogy, but for the people that have already played the game of college and grad school admissions, I am hoping to leech a little knowledge you have acquired through the processes.

I am extremely intimidated by the low acceptance rates to the fields I am looking into --Pharmacy, Optometry, and Chiropractic--. I am only a senior in high school, and I understand things change, but I am extremely interested in a science degree, more specifically, biochemestry.

So my question is, how hard is graduate school to get into compared to undergrad? ie, Is getting into graduate school as hard as the notorious HYPSM, or is it realistic chance for a person accepted to lower first-tier schools?

Any insight is particularly valuably and greatly appreciated.

Yours,
~shai
