graduating early

I keep getting announcements about commencement even though my daughter is only a junior. I started thinking, and realized she will have more than 120 credits by the end of the year. She’s doing a bunch of majors but she’ll have completed all the requirements for at least one at the end of this year. Is there any advantage to getting the BA this year? Could she still stick around and finish the other courses she wants to take but also take graduate classes?

She’s in the B-school and also doing a Spanish major.

The main advantage of graduating early in not paying tuition for the following year.
Having multiple majors is not necessarily helpful. I guess it would depend on what your daughter wants to do with them.
However, if your D wants to go to grad school, they don’t just look for a diploma - they look at all the classes taken in the field of interest. Having gone more in depth, getting to know professors and advisers, etc. can make a huge difference in grad cshool admissions.
I don’t see any reason why your daughter would not be able to take graduate level courses. If these courses are not counted for her undergrad degree, she may also be able to use them towards her grad degree in the future (this will probably depend on the grad school tough).

amazon, what a motivated, hard-working daughter you have!
I know the ArtSci has a combined BA/MA program option for juniors and seniors if your grades are strong and you are taking on very heavy courseloads. Do you know if the B-school has that?

Thanks Zenith. Actually she came in with a lot of credits - the b-school lets you come in with more AP credits than artsci and she took a piano course every semester which just added up to an extra 3 credits per semester. I’ll ask her if the b-school has that - probably not although her Spanish major is in Artsci.
