Graduating Early

Junior level transfer is where they accept a majority of the transfer (by majority i mean 95%+ of their transfers)

Sophomore level transfers depends on your major and also if the U.C’s even accept soph transfer you are in a different pool than the junior level transfer and your chance of getting in is much harder i would say 3.8~ gpa + atleast to have a chance not hard number but my guess. I hadvn’t seen anyone attempt a sophomore transfer on this forum i think

littlebbycupcake, all right. You might want to review 1-8 that I listed above to see if transferring is a good idea for you.

I only recommend you apply as a junior-level transfer if you choose a major (that you know for sure you want to do), have all the pre-reqs completed for that major (all of them that are offered at your CCC at least; check on assist.org), and have the IGETC completed.

i thought that you had to attend a minimum of one year at a community college?

That’s for TAG.

I was in the same situation as you and decided to go to community college early. Being involved in hs events was not very difficult for me so I dont think you’de be missing. It was a good experience for me though. I applied to ucsd and ucsb with acceptance garentees and Berkeley and UCLA this fall.

@corinnejay: Did you choose to transfer as a lower division or junior level? Can you tell me a little more about your experience?

ahh i see…
