I am currently now a sophomore at Westside High School and I am planning on graduating one academic year ahead of schedule because I will have all of my credits completed by my junior year. Would this affect my chances into getting into Duke University?

I don’t see why you would want to do that. I had all of my credits completed in the 11th grade as well, but credits don’t really mean much. Aren’t there AP classes you could be taking in your senior year?

Have you completely ran out of resources at your high school? Even so, I do think there must be something you can do (ex. independent study?). Don’t try to rush high school. Appreciate what you have now.

You’ve provided little information about yourself (no GPA, no SAT, etc) but I don’t think graduating early will help your application. It could hurt it, actually. Admissions examines anyone who graduates early extremely closely and if they feel you still have more room to grow and become accustomed to college life, you’ll be rejected.
