<p>I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, I would like to know if it is possible to graduate in three years or less from a college in the U.S? I would also like to know the credits required each semester by colleges and the total number of credits required by colleges. </p>
<p>I am interested in a mechanical engineering and I get about 10 credits for my higher level subjects in the IB(International Baccalaureate) Diploma.</p>
<p>You will need to check with the college you plan to attend to see what their policy is regarding credits for an IB Diploma. You can certainly complete your degree in three years if you attend classes during the summer session, but I believe you are asking about completing it in six semesters instead of eight.</p>
<p>Our D will be entering an engineering program with 24 credits from AP courses, but she will be using the space to either double major or double minor.</p>
