Questions I anticipate:
** Are you graduating on time? **
Yes, I am. It was pretty easy, actually - just don’t fail your classes and take your requirements early.

** What are you doing after graduation?**
I started my M. Eng. this term, so I’ll be finishing it up next year. I’ll be working in the Media Lab on some machine learning stuff.

** Did you get a lot of job offers? **
I received a substantial amount of interview and job offers. I ultimately decided that I wanted to get my master’s, but it wasn’t because I couldn’t get a job.

** Was MIT worth it? **
Absolutely.

I’m hoping that Mollie and Piper will also chime in, as I know that they both have a solid perspective on what happens after 4 years of MIT as well.

What dorm(s) did you live in and can you talk about the mood/facilities/etc of them?

I live (for a few more weeks, anyway) on 5E in East Campus. It’s getting renovated this summer, so I don’t know how the facilities will be next year. It’s currently dirty and falling apart, but it’s full of wonderful people and I love it (even if no one ever cleans the kitchen table).

EC/5E was a great fit for my personality, but it’s definitely not for everyone. While I absolutely love it, you really do need to make your own decisions over CPW and REX.

Is it pretty easy to see every dorm during CPW?

If you’re motivated, but CPW is more for getting to know the Institute as a whole. REX is specifically for seeing every dorm, so I wouldn’t be super upset if you don’t manage to see every place over CPW as long as you get a feel for whether you think MIT is right for you or not.

Well I sure hope it is right for me… I’ve already declined all other offers and have “officially enrolled” or whatever it is called… :D
