<p>My 40+ year old SIL is graduating from college this weekend. Any ideas for a gift? The usual “starting your career” gifts don’t seem appropriate because she already has a successful career. She and my BIL married recently so they have a house full of new wedding gifts. I’m stumped.</p>
<p>How about a consumable, for example a spa or restaurant certificate for some well deserved r&r (after combining a career plus college).</p>
<p>Funny, H suggested a spa too. I was still the path of “graduation gift = something permanent (like a really nice pen only not that boring)”. But maybe a consumable is the way to go.</p>
