Thanks for the replies. He currently has either 100 or 101 credits. Awesome, thanks for the suggestion on night classes, but unfortunately he is going to be carrying 18 credits already this coming semester. I am already concerned that this is going to be to much. We talked briefly with a counselor the other day and she said it is not a good idea for him to be carrying this coarse load. He is insisting it is not to much, he will be taking a senior design class,an introductory psych class, and some kind of fairy tale class, as well as two other classes. He said they all should be fairly easy. I am concerned because his gpa has dropped below 3.0 . our idea is to get him through in the most cost effective way, but still trying to keep the gpa from tanking any further. He loves Pitt and has enjoyed his last 4 years there. His dad and I are just ready for the college days to be over, and that first job to be started. He is a Computer Engineering major. He is also going to be looking into taking those last 6 open elective classes at Alleghany Community College, if Pitt will let him due this to complete their degree requirements.
