Good news here!! EE son got a job offer last week. He’ll be working in Power which is what he wanted. Sooo excited! Apartment hunting today, Graduation tomorrow.
It didn’t come easy. He’s been sending out resumes since December. His friends who just started looking last month have not been as successful. So thankful and proud of him!

Wow, so happy to hear all the good news here! Looks like engineers are, in fact, in high demand which is encouraging as younger S is studying mechE. Our recent grad is in the visual arts field which we know to be tough in entering. He will be starting only part time (with an offer of FT within 6 months) but it’s a foot in the door! Happy graduation everyone.

My son graduated on May 15, and he started his job this past Monday. He worked as an intern for this company last summer and they gave him an offer in September. I am very thankful that he didn’t pursue his alternate career path as a music teacher. I don’t think he would have been as lucky in finding a job.
