Grammar Mistake... Oh.. My.. God... PLEASE HELP

I just found out that at the end of my additional informantion section, I forgot to add a period. Everything else was PERFECT! It is already sent off so there is nothing I can do....
Should I just kiss everything goodbye??

It might not even be noticed..?

Calm down. It's unlikely that the missing period will be noticed, especially since it's in the additional info section. Just FYI--You have a punctuation mistake, not a grammar mistake.

Missed a period, eh? Well, I can understand how that might cause some anxiety, but I don't think it will have any effect whatsoever on your application.

That is not a big deal at all.

Some students think that because competition is so fierce, schools are looking for any excuse to reject an applicant. That just isn't the case. How on earth would penalizing you for a single missing punctuation mark help Harvard build a good undergraduate class?

If your essay had multiple punctuation mistakes and other typos, it might indicate that you were careless. If it had a few grammar errors, it could indicate that you were weak at writing. But a single missing period in an additional information section means NOTHING.

You can't be serious.

You can't be. Please, what is this world coming to?

Don't cry out to your deity for your missing period. Ask for a cure to your exaggerated responses.

Missing period? You might want to stop at a pharmacy and get a pregnancy detection kit! stop worrying. Hahahahahah sorry, couldn't resist. This is so silly.

sorry guys i had a panic attack :) Thank you so much for the reassurance :)

If you're the type of person to freak out about missing a period then you're not the type of person any university would want...

That's harsh and untrue.

Would you want to be roommates with some who has a heart attack over a single, measly punctuation mistake...?

An overly neurotic post is hardly a heart attack. Anxieties run high in the college admissions process! :)

^All the awards for this post :D

Yeah, I know a few guys who were rejected over that. In fact, I think it's a whole category that Harvard evaluates, something like "presence of punctuation in written statements."

Actually it's more like "absence of single punctuation mark "

If Yale can overlook clam farts, Harvard should be OK with missing punctuation :) :

DD dropped a whole two letter word (to) in her essay when copy//paste from word doc to common app...she was still admitted. I don't think admissions will notice your error.....and best of luck!

8/10 for the idea.
2/10 for delivery.

I didn't believe this was serious at first.

You just dropped from 5% to 2%
Hopefully the carelessness was worth it.

Okay I am sorry but it was a copy and pasting error. I read and reread and reread but I just missed it. No need to be mean...
