<p>Is this grammatically correct? or do i have to say</p>

<p>“She has never prevented me from taking risks and making mistakes in real life, whether it is in my academic or extracurricular endeavors.” </p>

<p>I believe both to be grammatically correct . I would choose the first one.</p>
