[Although] she considers her chemistry research [complete], she [has heeded] her professor’s advice and [is conducting] three additional experiments. [No error]
I’m unsure of why “has heeded” is not “has been heeding.” What’s the difference?

“Has heeded” refers to an action done in the past.

“Has been heeding” refers to an action done in the past BUT still continuing into the present.
