<p>Not a big deal. It isn’t a cause for concern unless you wrote the wrong school name or something.</p>
<p>Colleges can afford to be selective in who they choose, so if there are glaring errors appearing consistently throughout an app, it would probably have an adverse effect. But if you’re just talking about one little mistake, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Search for “errors on application” or something like that in this forum and others – you’ll likely find stories of many people who made mistakes as well as the outcome of their application.
