Grammatix

I have heard a lot about Grammatix, but is it really that good?

bump (10 characters)

what does this ‘bump’ thing mean

But anyway, I read the Grammatrix thing about the SAT essay and it seems good to me! That’s the only thing I’ve looked at though.

^ people write “bump” in order to “bump” the thread topic higher on the page where it lists all the threads

I think the essay section is the most helpful, since it’s very systematic and easy to apply. I’ve been reading the other stuff though, and it just seems too complicated, and basically a reiteration of the SAT prep strategies given by other companies.

i like the grammatix, as rockandrolltime said, it works most for Grammar aand essay section, but harder to apply for CR and Math.

b u m p = bring up my post

meaning what it says… adding 1 to the post count moving it up
…

lol @ writing (10 characters) instead of just 10 char

i found it helpful. but i think it was just because it summarized everything really well. i basically skimmed the math section and writing the night before so that the little methods and formulas and rules would be fresh in my mind and i ended up doing really well (my score improved 210 pts.) Now i don’t think i would attribute my entire improvement on Grammatix but i suppose that going over some of the old stuff that i had forgotten did help.
