Just silly…and the Granny Panties underneath…seriously?

But I guess she got what she wanted-lots of attention. More power to her. :)

Rodney - I think she blows almost any singer of her generation out of the league. She is a gift that comes around very rarely. Am glad to see she recovered from her surgery.

Agree, Rodney. She’s the real deal. It’s so refreshing to see someone who doesn’t feel the need to dress in an outrageous costume, to have the stage in flames, to be doing flips across the stage or to be writhing across it, but rather can just stand at the mic and let her voice do the work. Beautiful.

Adele is fabulous…hope she wins big!

It’s so nice to hear someone sing live. Not a note of Katy Perry was live. I’m not sure exactly what Taylor Swift did, but she has never sung in tune live in her life. She was either very well auto tuned or sang to taped track. I can’t blame her for not wanting to sing live to the song that is directed at those who says she can’t sing live.

Add me to the “not such a Springsteen fan” either. Loved “Greetings from Asbury Park” but that’s about it.

Adele had a nice interview, I think it was on ET, before the Grammys too.

It’s a shame she suffers from such terrible stage fright.

OMG how old is Glenn Campbell?

I think he is in his mid-70’s and suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Go at it Glenn!

Not enough attention for Gaga. She may cry soon.

If you want to see Taylor Swift singing live, look on youtube for the performance she did at the Grammy’s 2010 when she sang Rhiannon with Stevie Nicks. Some of the notes in there – I think those would have been re-recorded or autotuned out of the performance were lip-synced.

D2 just had a good chuckle as we were watching Glen, and I told her that he was my first ever concert, when I was a kid. My parents took me to see him at the Houston Rodeo, and I had a poster of him on my wall.

She said she was glad she had us as parents, as her first concert was the Beach Boys when she was about six years old. Funny how the Grammys can continue to remain a multi-generational attraction!

I did not realize that Glen Campbell has Alzheimer’s.

My husband and I saw the Beach Boys when we were dating.

He’s 75 but he’s still got it. He suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and I’ve read that he sometimes get confused on stage but he pulled it off tonight.

Wow, I just checked the listings and discovered they are time delayed on the west coast, beginning at 8PST. Weird, I thought it would be live, like football. I guess I now know which acts to watch for!

Thanks for info. On west coast, so have to wait to watch on TV:).

Oh, I’m sorry, somemom and lamom. I hope we’re not ruining it for y’all!

I was relieved to see Glen Campbell do so well tonight. They profiled him on the CBS Sunday Morning Show this morning about his Alzheimer’s. He keeps it together by using teleprompters these days and his 3 adult kids are in his band and they are a big help to him in keeping him on track. Wichita Lineman is one of my alltime favorite songs.

Just getting started here, but I’m liking LL.

Wow! My ipad “knew” LL!

I guess Jay Z is with his new baby…I wonder why Kanye wasn’t there…(grin)…
