Am I supposed to check this if i have a sibling in college that receives financial aid?

No, the student section question only refers to you. The parent section question only applies to your parent(s). Sibling’s income and tax info isn’t asked for on fafsa.

There are two questions that ask that. One is in the student section, question 44d. That one is only asking about whether you reported any taxable scholarship and grant income on your tax return. Question 93d in the parent section is only asking if your parents reported any taxable grant and scholarship income to the IRS on their tax return. Neither is asking about your sibling(s).
The questions aren’t asking about all grant and scholarship aid, only if any was reported to the IRS as a taxable amount. Most grant and scholarship aid isn’t taxable.
