<p>So I am a little confused. Let’s say I receive the Cal Grant, plus some UC based grant of a small amount that covers my fees for actually paying for classes/attendance/fees. Now if I receive a Pell Grant with that will they instead use the Pell grant for my fees and lower my UC based grant? Or would I receive my whole pell grant to buy books, supplies, etc? </p>

<p>If someone could explain to me what our financial package actually means when it comes time to attend that would be extremely helpful.</p>

<p>University grants utilize other grants such as the Pell Grant and form them into one University Grant so the university doesn’t have to pay you so much to go to school.</p>
