Any opinions on the “best” do-it-yourself program? Kaplan? Princeton Review? Something else?

I liked the Barron’s books because they had the most practice problems and the biggest vocab list, but I actually used several different books. Hey, the more the merrier!

It’s also good to practice pacing oneself through the test – since the test is adaptive, the first ten or so questions have a greater impact on the final score than the rest. I found it worthwhile to spend about half the available time on the first ten questions, making sure I got all ten right.

Dumb question: does the “xiggi method” for SAT prep have relevance for GRE/GMAT/LSAT prep? Any of the above? None?
