Next Oct’06 from 2.5 hours to 4 hours…fewer test dates down to 30X/year. Addressing security concerns and demands of graduate schools???

Meh, addressing their own uselessness, I think.

Is the current GRE only 2.5 hours? I guess I assumed it is longer. A good thing, though…

I’m pretty sure my November '05 GRE confirmation ticket says the total test time is 4 hrs.

Currently the test is 2.5 hours – 45 minutes for the writing issue task, 30 for the writing argument task, 30 minutes for verbal, 45 minutes for math.

The registration and experimental sections may mean it’s a little longer, but the test itself is currently 2.5 hours.

ugh, it sounds horrible. the current “shorter” version is painful enough.
