Just turned on the tv to watch Grease Live. I missed the first hour.
Anybody watching? I hope they show it again on another day so that I can watch it from the beginning.
I keep falling asleep!
I think I need to watch the original again.
Props to Vanessa Hudgens who is performing live after her dad passed away from cancer last night. 
She is performing in his honor. <3

They seem to be having a lot of sound problems
I think the sound went off during the dance competition.
Some of the songs are different I think from the original movie.
I assume this is live.
Drive in movie theaters. Do they even exist anymore?
I am behind, but right before the sound went out during Hand Jive, Mario Lopez announced American Bandstand, not National Bandstand! :">
Sound also went out during Sandy’s “Hopelessly devoted to you”. Seems they tried to cut to commercial a time or two. Don’t know if that was intentional.
This is really bad; the sounds goes out and we see a previous scene or a commercial? It’s not like this is the first time there has ever been live shows!!
What was that that flew off when one of the couples was taking a bow, and the guy tried to kick it away? A bracelet?
I flipped over a few times. Hmmmm, didn’t love it. I didn’t like hearing the audience. And I noticed sound problems, too.
I hadn’t heard about Vanessa’s father. Poor thing.
I can’t imagine all the work that goes into the production of this live show. I read that they had 21 sets at the Warner brothers studio in CA and used golf carts to go from one set to another.

A lot of the sets were outdoors so there was worry about the weather because there was a big chance for rain showers during the live show.
I noticed at the beginning when they were outside, in the rain, many had umbrellas. I saw Anna Gasteyer, after her shot, was still in the scene in the background, and closed up her umbrella and scooted across )from left to right) I guess to get ready for her inside shot, as the principal. Was Mrs. Murdock the lady that fixed up the car for the race? Now I wish I could go back and see, as that character (Mrs Murdock) was Eve Plumb, from the Brady Bunch!! Which character was Mrs. Murdock?
DH and I enjoyed it. Mrs. Murdock was the automotive teacher. When they were driving those “transporters” with all the actors towards the very end, one guy hit a curb and could have flipped the whole thing! Great dancing!
There was an article on fox saying that the censorship laws would not allow certain verses and smoking in the live tv show.
This production was supposed to be a fusion of the broadway show and the movie.
I saw the curb hit. Also, saw an extra with his cell phone in the last scene videoing!!
Since it was a live show I am guessing they will be redoing this for the west coast viewers?
