Great Composite but terrible writing? Should I retake?

I know this is 93rd percentile, but I’m really shooting for Princeton. Should I request a rescore? Should I retest?

Colleges don’t look at the writing score. The results have been so egregiously erratic that score no longer matters.

A 26 on the essay is above 90%ile. Princeton knows about the scoring issues and can read a %ile graph. Chill

34 composite is plenty high to be considered at Princeton. Ultimately, it will not be that essay score that keeps you from being admitted.
