I want to major in Chinese, and would prefer to attend a more LAC-type place than a big university. I know Middlebury has a legendary foreign language program, but what other places do? I’m looking into Hamilton, how is their foreign language program?
The largest type of university I would attend would probably be something mid-sized like Tufts, which I’m pretty sure has a very strong foreign language program and an AMAZING (from what I’ve gathered) study-abroad program, at least from what I gathered.
So what places should I be looking into? This would preferably be in the Northeast since my family is going on a little college road trip through the Northeast, although I’m open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

I did my own research on this topic and came up with Middlebury, Vassar, Hamilton, Grinnell, and Amherst.
