I’m applying to top schools and have the grades and extracurriculars.
My sat 1 score is 2080 but I have 780 on both math 2 and chemistry. do my sat 2 scores make up for my sat 2 score?

Are you International?

same here, (international by the way)

SAT - 2100 CR/M/W - 650/790/660

SAT physics - 800
SAT Maths - 800

PS - anything above 2000 is not bad. 2000-2150 is kind of good to v.good.

too bad US colleges do not give much weightage to SAT subject scores.

(Shouldn’t it be actually that. SAT Subject test are more a test of students knowledge and aptitude rather than SAT reasoning.)

A 2080 is a good score relatively speaking, or at least not bad (depending on what schools you’re applying to).

@laurette123, may I ask what the “top schools” you are applying to?

Your SAT 2 scores are counted in your application just a little but not as much as the SAT I. With extracurriculars and your high grades, you should be good. An SAT score above 2000 is good.

hopkins, brown, wustl, wesleyan and Ive been accepted EA boston college.

Honestly, a 2080 isn’t all that for Hopkins or Brown but your application is more than your SAT score.
