Great way to dramatically increase chances of admission!

<li><p>Go to local ink store (or Wal Mart) and get a few big fine black ink cartridges.</p></li>
<li><p>Find a safe abandoned forest. </p></li>
<li><p>Take an axe, the cartridges, and a fold up table with you to the forest.</p></li>
<li><p>Take off all of your clothes.</p></li>
<li><p>Put the table up.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>(Steps 4 and 5 are reversible)</p>

<li><p>Put the cartridges on the table and one by one chop them up. The ink should spew out everywhere. Make sure it covers your entire body. This is going to act as your “safety blackness”</p></li>
<li><p>Go to a really good makeup artist and tell him that you are a black man that wants to get a little lighter and naturally black.</p></li>
<li><p>Contact your state government in rage, saying that you looked and all legal documents call you white.</p></li>
<li><p>They will change your documents to African American.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>Congratulations, you are now a URM.</p>

<p>I’m Indian. And umm… this is hilarious. Yeah, well, nice satire. Kind of reminded me of blackface theatre methods I read about. </p>

<p>But yeah, apparently, blacks think skin colour should be used to determine who gets to go to which college. It’s funny how in 1965, they were saying that colour of skin should not be used as a discriminating factor… and now look how they change face when it comes to college admissions. Perhaps they forgot, it wasn’t so hot when it was happening to them in the slave days.</p>

<p>There are many black students who are affected by this too. This thread is kind of an example. Many people think that URM’s get drastically increased chances to schools. Which they do, and the opinion of them becomes inferior. Exactly what they fought to end in the civil rights movement…</p>
