Green grass

is there green grass at emory right now? i’m sick of snow and cold and white and especially frost on my car.

im looking outside at the chemistry buildings now. theres a grove of evergreen trees with green grass below

The grass is greenish, but it’s not a crisp green like it is in the summer.

I came to Emory under the impression that the leaves would not fall off of the trees in autumn. Alas, the leaves do come off the trees. Emory is not Disney World. All-be-it, the climate at Emory is much warmer than that of Maine. You don’t get the extremely cold weather like you do in the north. Overall, it’s just much more mild.

And the leaves do change color…beautifulllly! I walked around for a week taking photos of nature…orange, yellow, red leaves, bright blue sky, green grass…and I’m really not usually ‘one’ with nature. I’m from South Florida; The leafs are one color: green. I honesty find the Emory campus soooo gorgeous.

speaking of the bucolic, does anyone have any wallpaper-esque photos of emory? Can you pm me if you do? I want to flunt it on my desktop.

does it ever snow at emory? iv never seen snow id like to see some when i come :D

there is a chance of snow but you will not see alot of it at emory. the most will be one or two days in january or february. we do have nice ice storms though! haha
