<p>Looking for stats on Groton, 8th grade. What does it take to get in?</p>
<p>I am not sure what stats you are looking for. Apart from the usual “bright, well rounded, service minded, kind hearted” requirements of their general application pool, they look for kids emotionally ready to be boarders and take on the rigors of Groton’s academics in 8th grade. Having said that they have a wide spectrum of kids in 8th grade. My daughter is finishing off her II form (8th grade) year there now, I will be happy to answer specifics by PM!</p>
