ground digger wasps

Dad II. I’m glad you are ok. You say you weren’t in any real danger…but I don’t think your hand shouldn’t have swelled up that much… if it had been your child or spouse would you have thought the same thing?

What in the world do you have against antihistamines, dadII, they could save your life.

Just think of "auntie"histamine as a relative of “uncle” Jim Beam or Old Grand-dad and it will be much easier to swallow.

Nothing, except it costs $$ and I don’t really need any.

Is surprised totally about how long and how much swelling that little stung caused. This is day 4 and some swelling remaining on the hand. All three thing spots are all still itching.

I know I should not have done much drinking on Saturday, but got a reputation to protect. :)

MichiganGeorgia asked a very good question, DadII. What is your response?

Oh please. A box of generic benedryl costs less than $5 at Target, Walmart or any pharmacy. That is not exactly a kings ransom!

Spotted these creatures in our front yard today. Glad to know what they are, and how to deal with them.

Who are you Dean Martin?
Generally well before the kids leave high school, parents realize that children listen more closely to what we ** DO** than what we * say*.

You may not think they are watching, but when you have a " reputation" as you put it, your children are aware.
I wouldn’t be happy with an attitude that going out and abusing legal substances when you are ill, is a reasonable & accepted thing to do.
You seem interested in improving your health on other threads, but I am wondering why you are hanging onto this attitude that its ok to treat your body like you will live forever?
