Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this company. We have a bathroom shower that I just can not get the mold stains out of the white grout.

thanks.

It appears that all they are going to do is something you can do. They are going to dig out the old grout and replace it with new grout. Grouting is easy, the real problem is that it is time consuming, since the grout has to cure and then be sealed, which can be several days without a shower.

No, no, no, please do not replace your old yucky grout with regular grout! Get the EPOXY grout for your bathroom. Despite the cries of the so-called pros that it is not a DIY project, it is! This old lady who had zero grouting experience regrouted her master bath shower with this stuff. It is waterproof, moldproof, and needs no sealing! And it does not need days to cure.

You have inspired me! I will give it a go on my own :)

Another vote for DIY from another old lady.
It was not a fun job but very satisfying to see the amazing finished product.

Yes, yes, epoxy grout.

musicmom, high-five! Who said you can’t teach an old lady a new trick? ;)

The hardest part was getting the old grout out. Since the tiles in my shower are 2-inch, there was a lot of grout. A LOT! DH bought a special tool (forgot what it was called - if it is not sold at Nordstrom, I can never remember the name! :)) - “epic fail”, as DD would say. I got good ol’ grout saw at HD for less than $10 and slowly took care of the business. The epoxy grout application part was a piece of cake. All you have to remember is that this stuff sets relatively fast, and the higher the temperature, the faster it hardens. We opened all windows to keep the temperature in the bathroom low, and I worked in small portions, cleaning up quickly using the special clean up additive that came with the grout box. There should be tons of references on DIY epoxy grout applications on the web; when we were doing it three years ago, it was still mostly “pro” stuff, so I just followed the instructions on the box.
