Is it better to do premed at an iffy school for a full ride or is it just better to go to a generally better school for full tuition and no financial aid???

Don’t understand the reason for the title of this thread, OP, but to answer your q, take the full ride, do extremely well at this school and on the MCATS, and save your $$$ for med school.

Names, please. Is your so-called iffy school actually dubious in quality? Is it your state school? Bob Jones University? Your local CC? Hollywood Upstairs Medical College?

If your iffy school is your state school, then it’s just fine. If your iffy school is your local CC, then it completely changes the advice.

^ LOL @ BJU

Generally, I’d say go to the “iffy” school for the full ride. You’ll really regret being in so much debt later on. So, if the school is even remotely decent, is accredited and offers pre-med courses, go there.
