gruber's and CR strat

First off, how good is grubers (practice tests only) compared to the real thing? And their CR strat is to underline and circle key info, but it seems that I do better doing questions then reading (I get bored and can’t reread something over when I think I know the answer). Should I start reading then answering the Qs or keep doing what I’m doing?

I hate Gruber’s tests, the CR isn’t anything like the SAT and the writing section is closer in difficulty to the SAT II writing.

Don’t take Gruber’s tests. I found the CR passages really boring too. You could practice questions from the tests, but if you want to take a timed practice test, I don’t think you can go wrong with CB’s blue book.
