Growing Up Giuliani | Newsweek Politics: Campaign 2008 | Newsweek.com

Did I mention the plethora of pictures of him cross-dressing?

Not to much of a surprise. He is a politician, case closed.

He’s too low to be considered a politician.

It’s sad that in this day and age someone could still be so prejudiced against the LGBT community.

I assume that many others on this board will be hounding you soon for your ugly comments.

Probably your last post here. Good bye.

No, I believe we all agree. At this point all politicians are considered too low. It is funny how it is no longer an election over who has their priorities straight but rather whose crooked past has been brought out the least by the media.

Or who can be most effectively Swift Boated. Way to obfuscate issues…

what is LGBT community?

Are Giuliani’s relatives really any worse than Roger Clinton/Billy Carter/Ted Kennedy, et al? Miscreant relatives hardly seem newsworthy anymore. Maybe they even help make the candidates seem more “like us.” (How many of you DON’T have a relative you are ashamed of? )

(LGBT = lesbian,gay,bi-sexual, transgendered)

And how many of us are that relative?

Haha, curmudge! Thanks for the smile. :)

I’m not a Giuliani fan, but I’m also not going to vote based on who somebody’s relatives are. I know someone who came from a Mob-connected family - she’s not the least bit sketchy herself, has never been remotely involved in that scene.

The fact that he’s chill and secure enough to cross-dress is to me a redeeming factor, if not enough of one to actually get me to support him. :)

Liable,

It is interesting that through many of your other posts, you always attack who you deemed as opposition. I may be new to this forum, however, I have yet to find posts just blasting any dems. You may not like these candidates, however, I doubt you will change anyones mind by consistently being negative. Why don’t you instead spend your time promoting positive info about candidates on issues that really matter.

BTW, please remember Guiliani prosecuted Gotti, I think that speaks more about him than some family member who may not even be an active member of his family. I am sure we all have cousins that we haven’t spoken to in years.

Ok, I’m going to cast my vote with great consideration to relatives. As I’ve said before, I’ve met Bill Clinton and the thought of him front and center again bothers me more than I can say. Were Hillary the be-all and end-all, I still wouldn’t vote for her because of Bill. I admire Donna Brazile very much for having the courage to discuss that issue publicly.

I do admire Donna Brazille for her comments, it took alot of guts and she might have herself for doing it. Now maybe others will follow suit in being brutally honest.

zoosermom, what do you find so bothersome about Bill Clinton? I am sincerely trying to figure out what could possibly be so offensive about Clinton. Time has shown that most of his policies were good for the country and his personal life was…well, personal.

My own opinion of the Clintons is that they are good politicians who make effective leaders with fairly well-placed priorities. I’m not their most enthusiastic fan but hey you take what you get in politics.

It’s spelled “libel” not “liable.” Hope this helps.

I have met him. My objection IS personal.

Fair enough. If he behaved like a creep towards me personally, I would also be forever turned off personally. Thanks for explaining that.

“Fair enough. If he behaved like a creep towards me personally, I would also be forever turned off personally. Thanks for explaining that.”

He didn’t behave like a creep toward me personally, but I personally watched him behave like a creep to someone in my presence.

OK, I don’t want more details :-).
