<p>Love me some Project Runway, Amazing Race, Intervention, and True Life. Great stuff.</p>
<p>Ok, I’ll admit to going all soft and gooey while watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I know it’s largely contrived and shamelessly marzipan, but…:o </p>
<p>I’ve watched a couple of Design Star episodes, but mostly, reality TV gets on my last nerve. I can’t stand “The Donald”, so I’ve never been able to countenance The Apprentice.</p>
<p>PROJECT RUNWAY!!! omg they kept all four of them!!! I suppose if Uli had gone with her original idea for the same-old same-old long flowy dress they might have aufed her. I’d have aufed smug Jeffrey! I so loved Laura’s dress.</p>
<p>D got me hooked on Project Runway this summer. We watched all the back seasons on DVD as well. Another one I watched was H*ll’s Kitchen.</p>
<p>I am so glad we do not have cable…Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, American Idol,Apprentice --these all take up too much of my time as it is!!! However, I justify this as my time to “veg” after a hectic/stressful day at work.</p>
<p>I loved Uli’s new dress design and agree that if she had stuck with the original flowy, long dress she would have been auf’d. I love Laura’ls clothes and would wear just about everything she has come up with (except the black long dress with the ENORMOUS white collar) and I also love Uli’s things, they look so comfortable and I love prints! Michael is a great guy and a good designer, just not really my style. But, Jeffrey is an ass and I wish he would get off my screen!</p>
<p>Also, I can’t believe how Laura is hanging in there, I can’t imagine being 3 months pregnant and having to be on my feet all day and be creative while feeling like cr*p and being exhausted!</p>
<p>I’m a huge Michael fan, and I peg him to win, but last night’s dress was just awful! And I would certainly wear anything designed by Laura, (well, maybe not those plunging necklines!) but her dress was the same old, same old. Uli’s dress was more of the same too - just shorter. I don’t think that anyone stepped up to the plate on yesterday’s challenge.</p>
<p>And Jeffrey is indeed an ass.</p>

<p>saw some of the runway show on style network…can’t wait to see it all</p>
<p>They just said 3 months pregnant on the show, but maybe she is further along. Or, maybe it is because she is so thin, and she has already had 5 kids so she is showing way earlier (way too tired ab muscles!!)</p>
<p>that is what I think, no way is she three months…more like 5…maybe she knew she was pregnant before she went and didn’t say…oh some drama!</p>
<p>well, seeing videos of her kids in that room with the punchings bags, swords, etc, and 5 boys, this is like a vacation!!</p>

<p>D has requested I tivo them, and burn DVDs. I’ll send her 6 episodes at a time. She can fast forward through commercials and watch them in her “spare” time. I do miss her company when I watch now though. We used to compare and contrast, what we would do, how we would handle the challenges.</p>
<p>I’m happy they kept all four because I felt like there was no way Jeffrey was getting auf’d even though he deserves it. I would have been upset to see Uli, Laura or Michael go just keep that ass. AND by the way, does anyone think Jeffrey has talent? The way the judges rave over his horrendous outfits makes me wonder if they don’t all get drunk before they crawl up into those judges’ chairs. His style is supposedly ‘California’ and ‘edgy’, but I just find myself laughing at the weirdness.</p>
<p>I do think Laura is more progressive than given credit for…the empire waistline is very new (again) for this year. And I do wish they would all design something with sleeves, or pants, or fall/winter wear. It’s tiresome to see skimpy dresses over and over again.</p>
<p>My pick to win…Michael or Laura.</p>
<p>More drama to come. Laura accused Jeffrey of using outside sewers to help him complete his collection, something against Project Runways strict rules. </p>

<p>Wow, thanks for the link! Of all the collections, my personal favorite is Uli’s. I love those pretty flowing prints, and I also loved the short safari type top and skirt. The collection, to me, seemed the most cohesive and wearable. JMO :)</p>

<p>I had also wanted Michael or Laura to win until I saw Uli’s designs. They were all incredible, especially the bikini with the long flowing coverup. Laura had a couple of great ones in there, too, but Uli should win by a long shot!</p>
<p>Hey Patsmom!!! I agree, but you never know with those “fashion types”</p>
<p>Their idea of what is “hot” is a far cry from mine! I also didn’t like much of what Jeffrey did, and when he did an outfit I liked, they slammed him!</p>
<p>Why does Heidi Krum wear such terrible clothes? And why doesn’t Nina Garcia have any taste in what she wears?</p>
<p>First off, I think half the time the judges are on drugs. The whole Santino thing was outrageous. How they could justify keeping some of Jeffrey’s outfits (like the cocktail one) is beyond me. The reamed Kayne for being over the top - a lot of Jeffrey’s stuff was in the sewer. “California”?? PUHLEEZE!! Oh well. I had Michael as the winner from the start but after seeing his collection, while there were a few cute things, I don’t see him winning 
I liked several things from Uli and Laura. I’d be happy with either of them winning although I think Uli showed more range. If I had seen Jeffrey’s collection without knowing it was his - I’d never have guessed it. Not at all the style he showed during the show and nothing to write home about either. My guess is Uli in an upset.
I agree - who dresses Heidi - ewwwww. Can’t wait to see the reunion show!</p>
