I was wondering. University of Texas San Antonio has a admissions requirement. I am in top quarter of my class. The admissions board says that, top 25% or top first quarter is “GUARANTEED ADMISSIONS”. my SAT score is 1170. Will I be able to be accepted because I am in Top Quarter?

If the website says that you’re in…then you’re in.

Why don’t you email them though, just in case.

well, I messaged my counselor here in Houston, he is a UTSA counselor. this is what he has said. “Please provide me with the name of the high school that you attend and your date of birth. Yes. A student that is ranked in the top quarter of their class and has received a minimum score of 960 (Math & Critical Reading Sections Only) on the SAT meets our requirements for guaranteed admissions.”… I am confused on what he said.

It looks like you meet the requirements for guaranteed admissions. If you want to go to that university, you need to send your application paperwork so that they can accept you.
