how widely available are gut courses at Wesleyan, especially in the lower years?

just trying to cover my bases. i went to a prep school that had the principal of the senior school leading the instruction of Geography and Earth Science. sort of the academic subsidy to the rugby team. so yeah, guts are pretty important to my survival.

guts in the pure sense are very hard to find at Wesleyan, mainly because anything that so much as looks like a gut gets axed in the long run. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t tricks that you can use. For example, native speakers can always take upper level language courses; they essentially function as lit courses (not that lit courses are inherently easy.) My advice is that if you take courses that interest you, you won’t have any trouble maintaining a solid average.
